These are replica license plate attachments.  They are made of plastic, but they have been cast from a mold made from an original seal.  The detail is very good.  If you look at the back, you'll know it's a replica because it hasn't been stamped.  If you're restoring an old plate and don't have an original attachment, this is an inexpensive alternative to the real thing.  Shipping on these is free.
